Meet Jeremy.
Helping You Move Forward with Confidence and Intention
Life rarely unfolds exactly as we expect. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, strengthening your relationship, preparing for marriage, or simply trying to find your footing in a difficult season, therapy can provide the space to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward with greater clarity.
Jeremy Malzon, LPC, works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across the lifespan. Clients often describe him as calm, steady, and approachable. He believes that meaningful change begins by creating a space where people feel heard, respected, and understood.
Jeremy enjoys helping people look at challenges from new perspectives. Rather than feeling stuck in the same patterns, clients learn to identify different ways of approaching life's complexities, allowing them to make intentional choices that better align with the life and relationships they want to build.
My Approach to Therapy.
Jeremy approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and genuine respect for each person's story. He believes that every individual and every relationship possesses strengths that can be built upon, even during seasons that feel overwhelming.
His work is collaborative and practical, helping clients better understand themselves while developing tools they can use outside of the therapy office. Whether working with an individual, a couple, or a family, Jeremy focuses on helping clients create lasting change through increased awareness, healthy communication, and intentional action.
For clients who desire it, Jeremy is also able to thoughtfully integrate faith into the therapeutic process. Drawing from his professional experience in ministry, he welcomes conversations about spirituality and faith as one aspect of whole-person healing while always respecting each client's individual beliefs and goals.
Wisdom Worth Practicing
You can't always control what happens to you, but you can learn to choose how you respond.
Freedom often begins when we stop waiting for circumstances to change before we begin changing ourselves.Your emotions are important messengers, not dictators.
Feelings deserve to be acknowledged and understood, but they don't always tell the whole truth. Learning to listen without immediately obeying them creates resilience. The patterns that once protected you may no longer serve you.
Many coping strategies developed for survival were adaptive at one time. Healing often means honoring why they existed while building new ways of living.Healthy relationships require both honesty and grace.
Lasting connection isn't about avoiding conflict—it's about learning to communicate openly, repair misunderstandings, and remain curious about one another.Small, consistent choices change lives more than dramatic breakthroughs.
Growth usually happens through ordinary moments: setting one boundary, practicing one new skill, having one difficult conversation, or taking one step forward repeatedly over time.
Couples & Premarital Counseling
Jeremy has a passion for helping couples build healthy, resilient relationships. He is trained in Prepare/Enrich, one of the most widely respected relationship assessment and skill-building programs available today.
Whether couples are dating, engaged, newly married, or have been together for years, Jeremy helps partners strengthen communication, better understand one another, navigate conflict more effectively, and intentionally build the relationship they hope to create.
For engaged couples, premarital counseling provides an opportunity to establish a strong foundation before marriage. Together, you'll explore important topics such as communication, conflict resolution, expectations, finances, family dynamics, intimacy, and shared values—creating a thoughtful roadmap for your future together.
