Taylor Nadeau, MA, NCC
Limited Licensed Professional Counselor
Meet Taylor.
Taylor believes meaningful therapy begins with feeling understood.
She works primarily with adolescents, teens, and young adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity development, self-esteem concerns, or the everyday pressures of growing up in a rapidly changing world.
Clients often appreciate Taylor’s warm, approachable style and the genuine, collaborative space she creates. She understands that therapy is not one-size-fits-all and works alongside each client to better understand their experiences, recognize patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools for lasting growth.
Taylor views the therapeutic relationship as an important part of the healing process. Her goal is to help clients feel supported as they navigate challenges, strengthen confidence, and move toward a life that feels more intentional and aligned with who they want to become.
My Approach to Therapy.
Taylor believes that meaningful change happens within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. She is deeply relational in her work, taking time to build trust, understand each client's unique experiences, and create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, accepted, and supported. She recognizes that healing is often easier when it happens alongside someone who is consistently present, curious, and invested in the process.
Her approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), while drawing from additional evidence-based perspectives to meet each client's individual needs.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Taylor supports clients in identifying unhelpful patterns and developing healthier, more flexible ways of thinking and responding.
Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) can be especially helpful for clients experiencing OCD and obsessive doubt. This approach helps clients understand how doubt develops and strengthen trust in their senses, reasoning, and lived experience.
Taylor tailors therapy to the individual rather than expecting clients to fit into a predetermined treatment model. She believes that combining evidence-based interventions with a genuine, collaborative relationship creates the strongest foundation for lasting growth.
